OBJECTIVES AND GUIDELINES FOR COURTEOUS AND SAFE BOATING

OBJECTIVE: To create an environment of safe and courteous use of the lake that will ensure maximum enjoyment of the lake for all, boaters and non boaters. All persons using the lake are asked to be respectful of the rights of others and adhere to common sense rules of courtesy when on or near the lake.

Please observe these Wisconsin boating safety regulations:

All Watercraft: No Wake within 100 feet of any shoreline.

Personal watercraft: No wake within 200 feet on any shoreline.

Boater Safety Course

Wisconsin boating safety certification or out of state equivalent certification is required for operators born or after January 1, 1989.   Anyone is eligible to take the class and receive a safety education completion certificate, however, courses are designed at a 5th-grade level or up. Safety Education – Wisconsin DNR
